Hello,I´m fine.
People will know you as the voice of Dupont and Menticide, what is the current statuses of both bands?
Dupont is still going on with Rickard and Daniel, more soft dance EBM. Menticide doesn´t exist anymore.
With Menticide you released a great album (NME) on Infacted Recordings, what did happen after this release, did it bring you what you hoped for?
We,Menticide did not do more cd´s after NME,b ut we had good and big gigs. Now Christiaan is in the band Pouppée Fabrikk. After he told me that he doesn´t have time for touring with the band. I wanted all the time that Menticide would go on, but Christiaan not, sad.
What triggered you to start with Agrezzior?
What triggered me is that I must be on the stage, that is my thing, I love to sing and growl old school EBM.
The start of Agrezzior was already in 2008, how has the band evolved over the years?
I joined the band Agrezzior in 2009. We, Agrezzior played on Famillientreffen 2009,worked on the album and released it in 2010. We played in Venedig and now Dessau.
Who are the current members of Agrezzior and how did you meet?
The Agrezzior members now are me, Johan Damm singer, Jeppe Nilsson (also in Autodafeh) on pads, music lyrics and Mika Rossi (Autodafeh) not on stage with Agrezzior, lyrics music. Rob is not in the band anymore.
I met Mika and Jeppe at a Front 242 gig in Malmö, they opened before Front 242 there.
What is the chemistry between the members of Agrezzior, what is that makes it work so well?
We are loving old school EBM and having fun together.
What is the role of Mika Rossi?
Mika is a bandmember behind the scenes.
Agrezzior also signed a contract with Infacted Recordings, how did this go?
Yes, because I was on Infacted with Menticide, I asked Torben if he was interested in us, and he was. Infacted recordings is a good label.
Infacted Recordings is releasing a “classics serie” with good old ebm and electro acts, what album are you still missing in this serie?
I haven’t heard of this serie so I can’t say anything about it.
The album “Domination” is now released, how are the comments on it so far?
Domination was released in June 2010. The comments so far are very good.
How do you look back on the making of the album, did it turn out what you expected it to be?
Yes I am very satisfied of what we made on this album.
The press info says it’s old school ebm with modern influences, what is the perfect mix for you between old school and newer influences, how do you combine them for Agrezzior’s music?
It´s hard to answer that, but I think the next album is gonna be more of a mix between old school EBM and newer influences, maybe more like I did with Menticide.
An import part of ebm are the sing along choruses. How do you come up with the hooklines for them? What are great lyrics writers for you and what is it that makes them great?
Mika and Jeppe are very good writers , just like Christiaan and Rickard, much things about "body", "dreams", "sex", "war" and more things. Those are topics I like.
Only in a few countries old school ebm is still being made (as far as I know), what is your thought on this?
It doesn´t matter, I like these countries where old school EBM is being made, specially east Germany, that is like my 2nd homeland hehe.
Are you planning to promote the album with live shows, are there shows planned already?
Our albums is sold out since long time, I did not get Infacted to print more cd´s for the last gigs, but in the future I hope there will be more. We will play at WGT 2011.
What will be next for Agrezzior?
Next is to work on the 2nd album, design t-shirts and planning lots of big gigs I hope.
Any last words for the readers?
I hope I will see your readers at concerts so I can make a good show for them.
