Can you give us a brief introduction to FearTech?

FearTecH is the dark side of myself! It’s all about my negative feelings, like depression, anger and sadness. And I also put my favour for horror, dark sci-fi movies and literature in this project! I just like to create a dark atmosphere and not just “industrialised” gabba music!


Why did you pick the name FearTech?

Cause, the old name (ParadoXon) was already given awayJ. I searched for a new name and so I thought, ”okay, I am doing some kind of techno and its very dark and a bit scary for some people!” so FearTecH was born, end of story! I am not very creative when it comes to names.


Are you afraid technology will take over control one day? Is it a real threat in your eyes?

No, I am very interested in that, as I said, I like sci-fi stuff, space travel etc..
I just think that technology will speed up the process for the human race to get wiped out!


What are influences for you when it comes to writing music?

My life (false friends, painful relationships, anger), horror movies and the music I listen to at the moment.

FearTech

Why did you start with FearTech and what are your goals?

I don’t know yet! Maybe I’ll get rich and buy myself a big mansion and then I’ll rule the world! LoL , no I really don’t know, I just create music for myself and I am glad when people like it.


The first songs are of high standard but you seem them as a part of a learning process, what kind of things do you think you have to learn?

I think that I have to gain more knowledge in the process of song writing and audio engineering. I am very interested in that and I try to get better and better.


Will FearTech be a studio project or do you have to plans to play alive as well?

I mean, everything is possible in the future and I am still young so maybe I find some people who are interested to do live gigs with me. But until now it’s just a studio project.


In this scene remixing is very popular, who would you like to make a remix of one of your tracks?

Dismantled, Unter Null, Distorted Memory, Grendel and Hocico. It would be very cool if one of them would remix my stuff!

What are your lyrics about?

Everything I care about. It depends on my moods and interests at the moment. When I am impressed by a cool movie or story, I want to make a song out of it. But I mostly write songs about my emotional trash!


Any last words for the readers?

Stand up for yourself and don’t get too overwhelmed by all the stress and problems in life!
