As a kid, what did you want to become when you were grown up?
I want to become an artist. But never thought of being a singer in an industrial project.
I also wanted to become a ballerina, actress, talkmaster, a princess, and guess I’m nothing of it all except the princess
Is Summer Darkness the first concert in the Netherlands? And what do you expect from it?
Yes it´s really my first concert in the Netherlands. And I expect a lot of fun and many new people I´ll meet.
Perhaps I´ll see the sea, no hills, flat earth, many Marihuana-trees, Ms. Antje and her Cheese-wagon and al lot of junkies. Am I right? ;-p
What’s your favourite food on the bbq?
Hmmmmm Yum yummy it´s already gone!
I guess it was chicken with roasted corn and potatoes. Some tomatoes with cheese, a good mixed salad. And at least a bit black burned sausage.
Everyone has an addiction, shopping, smoking, chocolate and so on. What is yours?
definitely chocolate and shopping. What else? I´m a woman.
If you could organise a festival with every artist (even dead ones) who would play there?
Frank Sinatra and his daughter. Pink Floyd, SPK, Minamata, Jean Michelle Jarre, Edith Piaf, Buddy Holly. That´s enough.

How does the ultimate Geneviéve day looks like?
The perfect day starts very very slow around 11 am. A long but small breakfast, watching TV, going shopping for 2 hours, eat a little bit chinese food, watch TV, and then after watching TV again I go to bed (mostly not alone ;-)) and fall asleep and dream nothing.
You also sing in Jägerblut, what is the difference in singing between your own music and Jägerbluts music?
With my own project I make the music I want to do, something out of my soul. The lyrics always reflect me and my surroundings. So I always try to play more with my voice that it always sounds a bit different and more expressive.
In Jägerblut I interprete my roots, my home, my bavarian country. My voice sounds more classical and liturgical.
How did you discover you could sing? Are you a trained singer or a born singer?
In school I was a member of our choir. There I learned a bit classical singing for 4 Years. After School I quit singing. And after, I guess 7 years I discovered while making music that there is a little bit left of what I have learned. So I tried to get better and started singing again in a bit
How do you get rid of stress before a concert?
Many big long hugs. If you know a better way-let me know.
We know you are shy, is it hard for you to communicate with the audience when you are on stage as well?
It´s magical. On stage I‘m not as shy as in real life. Every shyness is blown away
