Can you introduce the band and it's members?

Our music is extraordinary that poured the blood of Japan into european electric music. We consist of the vocalist Andro and guitarist n@o and keyboardist #449.



You changed the name Euthanasie to Gothika, why did you do this?

The name EUTHANASIE was a cool name,and we loved it.But it also had a some serious problem for activity in several european countries.
We did not want to limit the place of our activities.So we chose the way to change name.


Your sound is pretty unique, what do you think it makes it this unique?

The voracious of us makes these unique sounds,I think. So this chaotic feeling is very natural for us.


How is the industrial scene in Japan, are there many bands/labels and clubs?

I'm always thinking Japanese industrial scene is smaller than european countries one. Here is nothing special for industrial music...


Why are Japanese bands, in general,  more visual orientated than European bands? (I’ve never seen a Japanese band perform in band shirt and jeans)

There are a lot of bands that perform with natural clothes in Japan. However,they are almost not famous in european area.

How are the responses on the latest mini cd, Queer Chronicle?

We're glad for a lot of people to be interested. But some friend live in England told me "What crazy title you named!!".


So far you released 3 mini cd's, when will be a full length cd released?

In this summer I hope. So we'll release it before Summer Darkness.


What bands influenced you or were important for Gothika?

We can't choose one...too a lot...


What can we expect from a Gothika concert?

Brand new emotional electro sound and strong sex appeal.


What do you expect from the show at the summer darkness festival?

We want to become the first band from Japan admitted by the electro scene. And it's simply glad to be able to perform with loved bands.
