Who is Patrice Synthea?
I’m just an ordinary girl, really, who may appear a bit out of the ordinary to some. By day, I run a multimedia company with my partner in life, Wrex.
We produce tv and radio commercials and jingles here in our home studio.
By night I embrace my artistic side, maybe record some vocals, dress up and
go out dancing (my all time favorite hobby) or watch a good movie with some
popcorn drizzled with jalapeno juice.. I’ve been extremely fortunate to do what I love in life,
hook up with some very talented and generous people, and I am grateful for every minute.
To what music did you listen as a kid?
As a very young child, I loved to sing along with the old 45 classics like “King of the Road” ,
“Yellow polka dot bikini”, and “Purple People Eater”. As a young girl, I was really
into New Wave and Punk Rock such as The B-52’s, Gary Numan, Siouxsie and
the Banshees, Dead Kennedys, etc.
What music is currently on your cd player or I Pod?
Mind in a Box, She wants Revenge, Askii Disco, Shiny Toy Guns,
to name only a few, oh and the new Regenerator demos too.
How is to be in the same band as your partner?
It’s wonderful! I can’t imagine it any other way. Sharing the same interests, and being able to put those passions into action has been amazing.
It also helps to be on the same schedule. .We’re both night owls to the extreme,
so we are on the same page (so-to-speak) most of the time.
We know you care a lot on animal welfare,
we wonder what animal you would like to be and why?
I suppose it would be nice to be a house cat. Always having what you need; constant love
and affection, lots of playthings, treats, cozy bed choices all about the house for those
cat naps that take up 14 hours out of each day, ahh, sounds like bliss! I’d live a long
healthy life if not allowed outdoors, which would probably be my only complaint, but it would just
be to keep me safe. Aside from the cat, I truly would not want to be any animal, as most
live their lives in peril, only to satisfy the desires of humans or are abused or neglected.

Who were rolemodels in your life?
There have been a few, but the most significant probably has been my mother.
She has taught me so many lessons on loving others. She’s always been so very
welcoming to anyone who came to our home, letting them live with us if needed.
She also taught me the important lesson of forgiveness. When I was really young,
my dad left, but rather than being angry with him and hating him for hurting her,
she forgave him, and as a result he’s always been in my life and turned out to be a
great father. Had things gone differently I may never have known him.
