Who is Rayne?

I am Rayne, I kinda use my nickname as a reference or a metaphore to sum up who I am. I am caiotic but its’ natural in human nature rayne is
my nature. Like rain is natural in nature.


How did you get the nickname Rayne?

I was getting a lot of modelling gigs; I needed a nick name to conceal my identity.


You replaced Joey in Dawn of Ashes. Is there anything you are looking up against in doing this?

Joey is a great friend of mine I love him to death. Right now Joey is dealing with his own personal issues and I wish him the best in what he is
doing in his life right now.As far as the band I have always supported my friends in DOA were like a small family. And now I am part Of DOA my dedication is really helping towards the future


What attracts you in playing harsh EBM?

I love EBM music and I have been a huge supporter of DOA for a long time and I am really happy to be apart of this project.

Dawn of Ashes has a horror image. What’s your favourite horror movie?

I based my Image from fear.com, Hell Raiser and Dolls. I do not have a favourite scary movie. All I can say is my friend :Khris: has an amazing Horror collection. Anytime I need a movie I go to his house he has all movie rental stores beat hands down with his collection.


You also like cartoons. Which cartoon character would you like to be and why? 

I would be Ren from Ren and Stimpy. 1 because it is one of my all time favourite cartoons, the reason I would want to be Ren is because when ever someone stupid pisses him off “Stimpy” he gets to slap the shit out of him. In real life I never get to slap the shit out of stupid people who piss me off I would end up in jail. So I am envious of Ren.

Also I would like to be Aeon from Aeon Flux. She is like mechanical and human pretty much invincible. Something about living forever seems so appealing to me. Also being human and a machine holds some truth. Our bodies are machines the more we maintain them the better off we are. And I know I would be an awesome assassin in real life.


You model quite frequently. What attracts you in modelling/photo shoots?

Money, Free clothes is a plus. Exposure helps me get more gigs, plus it is nice to have images and see how much I can change. Also I have been privileged enough to work with some amazing photographers. And you’re only young once some day I will be old and ugly it will be nice to have memories of how I used to be.


Your back tattoo is awesome. Why an Egyptian based tattoo, you have something with the old Egyptian culture?

Yes I love the culture; I share some of their beliefs. They were amazing if you
research their history. Something about eternity attracts me I think it is beautiful.

What are your biggest dreams and fears?

I want to accomplish all of my goals before I die, my biggest fear is to die before I have met my goals. I do not want my life to be wasted.


What is the strangest thing you bought for yourself?

Prosthetic autopsy stitches for my live costume


Do you have any hobbies besides music?

Music isn’t a hobby anymore it becomes a job once you make money at it ;) My hobbies are dancing to great music, art painting, and squashing sleazy boys’ egos. I hate arrogant pompous people.
