Stigmata

Stigmata is around for a short while now. Can you tell us a bit more about the project?

Stigmata is A project which you can call: "Totally Antichrist". It was officialy started 2006, and till now...many things are happend. At first of all, it was a fun project only, there was nothing that made me to show it to the world, untill BLC Productions were ready to drop a old demo song "No Way Out (Evil Dead Mix)  on "Interbreeding VIII: Elements Of Violence, which was pretty kick-ass for me that someone believes in my music, so we gave it a shot. After that one, BLC also dropped another demo song "Hurty You" on the latest complication of the series: "Kuru", and after that, I had a goal, no more demo's...but deliver some brand new stuff to show what I really can do. all I can say is...keep watching on www.myspace.com/blcstigmata, and ofcourse, don't forget to keep an eye on BLC'S website www.blcmusic.com regulary.

I also got lots of help from my French mate "Cedric" also knows as "Mesmer's Eyes" (don't forget to check out www.myspace.com/mesmerseyes) He was helping me when I got the ups and downs (and he still does), believe, without  ME, Stigmata would  be allready dead and ofcourse..without my friend "Brandon" (BLC Productions), I also wouldn't be able to to continue Stigmata. The project is currently running verry well and I can't wait to let you hear some new stuff, but as we both know...time's a bitch, and so be it. Anyways, all I can say is....It's worth the wait! Keep looking, it will consume you for sure.


What are the main influences for Stigmata and why did you start this project, you already had another project?

The main influences, verry difficult...all I can say that it would be pretty Antichrist, Drama, Dark, and Scary...I'm still experimenting ;-). I started Stigmata as a fun project, without any goals...just for fun, I wasn't interested in doing other things, and Music inspired me so much..that I had to try it, now..5 years later I'm on my way...and I'm proud that I did it, let the crucifiction begin........;-)
    
And before Stigmata, I did about 5 projects, Trance, Metal, Hardstyle, Hardcore and now it comes.....I won't mention the last one...I don't want you to kick my ass! The trance project is still running, and I will be back with it in the future for sure, I got some amazing feedbacks from it, that I have to continue a album for the people who supported and gave me hope with it, so....I will be back with it after Stigmata's  Debut Album.


You’ve done some great remixes. How did you get in contact with acts like mordacious?

Thanks, Mordacious had a bullentin on Myspace where he mentioned that he was looking for some remixes..and since he is one of my favorites, there was nothing that made me to let it go, and believe it or not, the results are really good............ Can't wait to show it to the people!


Is there any act you would love to do a remix for?

Short and simple, yes...Mesmer's Eyes


Stigmata is featured on the interbreeding compilation. How are the responses on it?

So far, I just had a few respones which were good, I guess people just wanna be nice, cause they suck! I know that you wanna ask, "why did you submitted them" well...I liked them before, and they were the first things I've made..at that time, I was proud of it. My opinion about it now, I wish they weren't able to be on the complications. The sounds are so much changed that you can't say: "Hey, that's a Stigmata song" which is a shame to me. Once again, I will be back with better stuff, believe me


And then you got signed to BLC, what can we expect from the debut cd of Stigmata, when will it be released?

Like I mentioned before...Drama, Dark, Scary,..and ofcourse, totally Antichrist. You can expect something good, since I got a kick-ass producer for it, you have to check it out when it's released, which producer??? I won't mention it...YET

The release date about Stigmata's debut is verry difficult, cause you know..it takes a while since I have a song that I would really like...it's all about time, and when the time is come, we all will be proud of it, we don't wanna have a shitty Stigmata album..right? Have patience, and I will do the rest ;-)


Stigmata is very provocative, especially towards religion. What is driving you to be this provocative?

Hahaha, I knew this one would come, thank you so much! :-) At the beginning, it shouldn't be a verry religion project, but there's just a factor
that makes me go to make it verry Antichrist:

A few weeks ago I got some messages from a couple of christians who where bitching about me and my music (where the hell they came from?), who gives a fuck that god would pray  for me, who gives a fuck god will be waiting for me? Well I can tell you...I don't! So a word for you christians who are reading this, crawl back to god's ass and fuck it! Anyways, for you NON-Christians, you don't have to worry about the music, I won't hold myself back, it even will become worser ass hell itself...and hopefully, you guys like it...and for the christians, hopefully you can cry on it! ;-)
  


The artwork of Stigmata is awesome, can you tell us a bit more about it?

Thanks, the artwork is done by young graphic master Nesis, (www.myspace.com/nesismystic) and she really did a great job, I can't tell much about it, yet...but it's really Stigmata, the logo, the artwork.. you don't have to look and think, you can reconize every second, check out www.myspace.com/blcstigmata, you can see some things she did there, and don't hesitate to drop here some great feedbacks, thanks Nesis!


What are your goals for Stigmata and how do you want to achieve?

I can be short on this one, my only goal is deliver some good stuff on BLC Productions!
