Can you give an introduction to Terrolokaust?
The idea arises in the meetings of recording of the album Symawrath's 'Hellnesis';
suddenly Indio started bringing a few ideas and we saw that the above mentioned ideas
had slightly specially. At first it was alone, but such it is the result, which we us it propose
to take seriously, that is to say to propose to do a complete album to us and to enter study.
Also I have been several years studying everything related to the second world war and the
third reich; everything does the complement of need to be able to extract TERROLOKAUST's
real conceptual topic, the need to transmit to the world something of what we are in against,
that is to say; all the aberrations committed in the course of this gray epoch; this it is the real
beginning of all that.
How would you describe the music of terrolokaust?
Fodder that to define alone Terrolokaust musically is 50 % of his totality, the idea of preparing
this project is the hybrid of the need to transmit certain historical bases and certainly the need
to look for a sound inside the electronic world scene.
What are the musical influences of terrolokaust?
Our influences are very varied, since musically we are very polyvalent and we us do not like to
classify inside an alone style, one of the bands that it has marked without any doubt in us is
Front Line Assembly, they are one of the best bands of industrial electronics, nowadays very
good bands exist but many people lack personality.
Besides Terrolokaust you also play in a metal band called “Symawrath”.
Why did you start Terrolokaust besides that?
We never take many years inside the electronic scene, but us raised , always playing our
influences to adorn the structures of our another band Symawrath, because of it we come
to the conclusion of proposing an album us completely electro and with a conceptual message that was transmitting the need to fight for something, the truth is that we are very satisfied with
the result obtained in Terrolokaust.
How is the Spanish harsh ebm scene today, it seems it’s getting stronger. Do you have many contacts with other bands?
Since the truth is that every time estan going out mas and better state bands, the only thing that
in this country we do not take the sufficient support of mass media since as they it have in other
countries, nostros respect bands as, Symawrath, Extinction Front, Tannhauser, Pail, Dioxyde,
Rave Party Animals, and many more, every time this there being consolidated mas the scene
industrial Electro.
I would describe Terrolokaust as a band with a message? Can you tell us some more about it? Why do you work with this message?
It is a very realistic vision of the facts, I do not conceal anything, do not invent anything,
everything this one any more that extracted on the outside, " we are not Nazi ", only we speak
about the sad thing that was the history, but it seems to be that there certain persons who do not understand it and they cannot stand that someone differs on the Nazism with so many brutality
and realism. The images of our previous myspace were censured; it seems to me to be very
lamentable that in the full 21st century the freedom of expression is almost like in the 30s, inside
an offensive and systematical dictatorship. What they do not know is that this denial does that
we fight furthermore.
I think there is a thin line between having a message and preaching? How do you keep the balance?
Not having without fear of treating a topic with a great taboo, but overcoat to show the
genuineness of the history.
How is the response on the concept so far?
In order that we are going to deceive, a bit of everything, initially there were certain confusions
on the concept, I understand that enclosed shock that manages to offend, but if it is deepened
mas in it can see clear good what we transmit, ideology antifascist!!
You did some live performance already, how did they go?
The truth is that I make us fatal, for nothing and more in the full 21st century, they did not comment on anything to us in the matter, simply limited themselves to censuring us and
point, did not leave us ningun type of negotiation of images, did not give to us truce, but
they themselves have acted as the authentic servants of the Germany Nazi, it for them is
not a fascism truth??? They are a few real hypocrites of the society.
Do you use videowalls or anything to make the concept visible??
We have a video, but seen the result of the censorship, etc, we prefer expecting to have our
web finished to be able to hang it, it contains a few very hard images, but I return to repeat
that we are not inventing absolutely anything, only we speak about something historical and
about what we need to shout to the sistematic fucking world.
What’s next for Terrolokaust?
We are negotiating the possibility of editing the album for this year 2007, and to prepare
the concerts of presentation, shows with a lot of force, let's hope that nobody goes out without
a commentary in his mouths. We have much of what to complain, or that will be energetic and
brutal, wanting to burst the brain to more of one.
