First of all, congratulations on reaching the 5th place in the Dutch Underground charts with the Led Manville remixes. How do you feel about this high ranking and how did you get in contact with Led Manville?

Thank you :) Obviously a high ranking in the charts always feels good!

We got in touch with Led Manville by coincidence. Ha did a mashup between a song from XMH and one from Apoptygma Berzerk called "Killer love to blame". We loved the way Led Manville perfectly blended the two tracks together, creating something totally new. We contacted him to compliment him on his work and we noticed he did a lot of this stuff. He mashed up another few XMH songs and all those remixes had, at least, the same quality as "Killer love to blame".
We stayed in contact ever since.

If you could have anybody do a remix for you, who would you like it to do?

I would like to have someone like Sebastian R. Komor do a remix for XMH. Because I think he's a really good producer and he made some very good remixes for other acts. The same goes for Kolja Trelle (SOMAN), and I think that his style would really compliment an XMH track.
I think it would also be nice to have an act like the prodigy or maybe something like KMFDM do a remix. They're approach to music is very different from what we do so the result should be interesting.

You released “Time to play” last year, how do you look back on the album and what did this release do for you as a band?

We had quite a few difficulties during the recording of that album and with actually getting it released. So it was a very good feeling to see it do so well.

"Time to Play" got XMH in the limelight and kept us there by staying in the DUC for quite some time.

This album was a first (big) step towards success, the only way we can go from here is forward.

Right now you are working on a new ep, what can you tell us about it already?

That it's no longer going to be an ep, but a full length album. There were just too many ideas that we wanted to put on the cd; It simply wouldn't fit on an ep.

We're aiming to release the album in the beginning of next year. It will of course contain Stomping clubtracks and music that will force you to move, but maybe also a few surprises ;)

There are some rumors about more collaborations, what can you tell us about it?

I might just tell you that there is a collaboration with Misery...

You should keep checking the news around us for more info about that. What the collaboration will bring... You'll just have to wait and see.

XmH will soon play in the Uk, must be really exciting. Is it the next step for XmH?

This is indeed really exciting! And yes, this is the next step for XMH. With a new album on the way and the success we had with the last one, it's only logical for us to expand the reach of XMH further and further.

It feels very good getting gigs outside of the Benelux and we have the feeling that we would do well overseas. Let's just say: XMH is ready to take over the UK, and the rest of the world while we're at it ;)

We will bring even more energy into the show with a lot of new material. We'll give everyone a sneak peek into our next album.  This'll be a lot of dancefloor crackers which you just can't stand still too.

Any last words for the readers?
