Name:
Charlotte
1. Most people in music grew up in a family
with lots of music.
When you were
young, what did you listen to alot?
I did not come from a family of musicians but
my family always loved music
and my parents had a lot of records. They listened
mostly to Pink Floyd
and Supertramp, but let’s not forget that I grew up in the
80’s,
so there was a lot of The Cure,
Depeche Mode and New Order going
around and I used to listen too that when I
was a kid.
2. Do you still listen to that?
Yes, of course. These bands are
still amongst my favourites,
although I listen to a lot of different things
now.
3. What was the most romantic thing that ever
happened to you?
Eheh! *blushes* Life is full of little
romantic moments.
I really can’t name a special one, because every romantic
moment is unique and unforgettable.
4. We know you had a swim with whales, how was
it?
I love animals and I love working
with them.
It’s what I do besides music. Recently, a very young whale showed up
at a Portuguese beach, lost without his family.
He was taken to a
rehabilitation facility, where he is recovering from
trauma and being taken
care of while he’s just a baby.
When he’s able do swim and feed by himself,
he’ll be back to sea.
I had the opportunity to help with that project and it
included being
in the water for hours with the little whale, interacting as
much as possible,
urging him to play, helping him feed… that kind of things.
It
was a fantastic experience, something I shall never forget,
because whales are
such peaceful and, on the other hand,
playful animals that no one can avoid feeling
amazed by them.
5. When you were a little girl, what would you
liked to be when you were a
Fortunately
for me, when I was a child, I wanted to be exactly what I am now.
I’ve always
loved music, so being a musician was always a dream.
On the other hand, I
always wanted to be a vet, and now here am I,
swimming with whales. *lol*
6. What is your biggest fear?
To lose irreversibly any of my
beloved ones is my biggest fear.
7. You are preparing to play live. What are
your expectations on that?
We’ve just started working on that
and I hope we’ll be able to play live
in the beginning of 2007. I’m very
enthusiastic about that because
we are arranging everything to the minimum
detail and I’ve very curious
about how the songs will sound like and how people
are going to respond to them.
8. You are responsible for the visible part of
In[Perfektion],
what can we expect?
Well, I take care of the visuals as
long as CD cover and website
design is concerned and promotional pictures as
well.
I like to associate a special mood to every song we do and take
inspiration
on that to do the artwork. That’s why our promotional pictures for Evilution have,
each one, the name of a
song. Each of them was inspired by that song’s mood
and made especially to fit
in it.
9. You make awesome pictures as well.
What
inspires you when you take pictures?
Thanks! 8) I do photography as an
hobby and I feel very flattered when
people enjoy my work, although I do it
just for fun and I don’t have
any specialized knowledge in that field. I
like to portray melancholy,
sensuality, even some aggressiveness…
Most of the
times, a sketch of what I want a picture to look like comes to my head
and then
I start working to make it look just like it.
Sometimes, I realize it won’t work afterall,
but there are sometimes
when the final product is even better than what I’ve
imagined
and that’s what has kept me doing this for some time now.
10 What are your dreams and goals for the
future?
I really want to finish university and I’d like
to work with wild animals,
mainly in rehabilitation of wounded animals and
their return to wildlife.
Also, I want to keep working on In[Perfektion] and I
hope we can fulfil our
dream to play live in many different countries and see
our work become
known and appreciated by people all over the world.
11. What is the strangest thing you have ever
bought?
Ahah! This one really made me think
hard! I think that might be a winter coat for my dog.
*LOL* He’s very tiny and
he’s always shivering in winter, so I bought him a warm
and impermeable doggy coat.
