We were heavily surprised about the SummerDarkness at all. Allthough it had a few thousand visitors and an unbeatable line up there was always a familiar flair... The whole SD-Crew was very gentle and helpful. (You could not expect this as an opening act!) They all did a great job. The Tivoli "Oudegracht" has a massive Soundsystem and great light-effects... Everything (including the soundcheck) was very eased and relaxed... That's completely different to German Festivals...Maybe it's because of your coffee-shops, hehehehe... Those facts and the well tasting Domellsch-beer made the concert very easy to us and took a lot of our excitement (lamp fever...brrrr). I couldn'.t see that much reactions from the audience because it was very dark and I really had to play live... But lots of people told us, nearly everyone was dancing within the first songs. - that's great for an opening newcomer act - isn't it? "Deutschland brennt" seem to be a Clubhit in Holland like it's in Germany. They started shouting and clapping at the intro of this song. -> amazing! Steinkind was rocking the house! - yeah! After the concert many people wanted to know more about us, bought CDs or just gave us a few more beer! We were very glad on the reactions!

Setlist:
01 Steinkind (I had a few problems with my Chaos-Pad - damn!)
02 Der tag danach (a few people began to dance - very much Punk in this song...Sàndor had finished his warm up and put off his shirt -> Pure madness! Let..s rock)
03 Trink Mich! (the whole crowd began to move, the Tivoli was getting fuller and fuller)
04 Ich muss (very dark atmosphere in it; they really liked it)
05 Gottkomplex (another very hard stomper; no time to relax...)
06 Deutschland brennt (the "Hit" in a special extralong live-version with many synthparts... pure Floorfilla)
07 Blutzeit (Electrock..n Roll!)

Time was over...
But the stagemanager Peter was very surprised about Steinkind and let us play one more song...(an absolute no go @ German Festivals... we very happy about that!)

08
We decided to play our coverversion of "Hier kommt Alex" from "Die Toten Hosen" which is an alltime Punkrock-Classic in Germany.

We will always play again at Summer Darkness!

That's it... I'm sure, you will have to summarize my blabla - sorry... But I had say how happy we have been!

Cheers! - Der Phil
